Fun with Poke Villain Bosses

So here's a little something I've worked out. It's long been my impression that you could essentially take the first four villain bosses and assign each one an alchemical element. Observe:
Giovanni is a ground-type Gym Leader when he's not being a Team Rocket boss, so his element is earth.
Archie is a pirate who wants to expand the sea, so his element is water.
Maxie is the leader of an organization called Team Magma, who likes volcanoes, so his element is fire.
Cyrus was trickier, but in broad strokes, his element seems to be air. Think about it: his organization's headquarters are on a mountain face, his plan comes to fruition on top of a mountain, his star pokemon is a giant crow, and he's even named after a celestial object. There's also the fact that air, in certain circles, is associated with intellect at the expense of emotion (which is basically what Cyrus believes in).
So with that in mind, try applying them to any other form of media that has those four elements involved....
Hogwarts Houses:
Gryffindor- Maxie
Ravenclaw- Cyrus
Slytherin- Archie
Hufflepuff- Giovanni
I guess Archie does have a bit of Slytherin in him, since I've always thought he was more scheming than Maxie overall; but it's been my impression for the longest time that Cyrus was most like a Slytherin in terms of personality. Though his being in Ravenclaw does work out. I get a bit of personal vindictive satisfaction about Giovanni being relegated to the window-dressing house, though.
Galen's Four Humors:
Maxie- Choleric
Cyrus- Sanguine
Giovanni- Melancholic
Archie- Phlegmatic
Which is hilarious because Cyrus, at least, is not sanguine at all!
Avatar: the Last Airbender:
Giovanni- Earth bender
Archie- Water bender
Maxie- Fire bender
Cyrus- Air bender
I'm not hugely familiar with the AtLA verse, but don't water-benders live up north? No doubt poor Archie would have trouble adjusting to the cold!
Then there's Mulan's awesome song of awesomeness, which strangely enough fits all the villains but Giovanni. Observe:
"Swift as a coursing river"-water-Archie
"All the force of a great typhoon"-air-Cyrus
"All the strength of a raging fire"-fire-Maxie
"Mysterious as the dark side of the moon"-any of the Plasma bosses fit this descriptor, but it's got nothing to do with Giovanni.
Yeah. There may be many more options, but I can't think of any more that I can bring to make sense.
